Pastors Aaron & Shelia Artt
After pastoring traditional churches for 23 years, Apostle Aaron and Pastor Shelia Artt came to Branson in 1993 with a word from the Lord, "And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the Day Star arises in your hearts" (2 Pt.1:19).
The first 10 years of ministry in Branson included a weekly outreach, Sunday Praise Gathering, to the nation(s) through a worship service in one of the major theaters in Branson. During those years, the church (then Day Star) also sponsored an annual outreach to their local community, and from 1993 to 2003, more than 8,000 registered their commitment to Christ. Not only were there many saved, but hundreds were healed and delivered by the power of the Spirit.
But a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and a new walk in the Fullness of Him brought about major changes in their lives in 1999, and things will "never be the same." Now Cross Roads International Revival Center, is not "church as usual" but truly an Apostolic-Prophetic Equipping Center to prepare and send "the saints" into the nations!
In October 2003, an attack came against Apostle Aaron's heart, he had four by-passes, but all of "man's attempt" failed, and his walk is now one of Walking in the Resurrection Power of Christ - but which Aaron is alive! God has promised a "new heart" and he is standing strong in the "power of His might" - as God completes His perfect work in his body! In the past six years, though he has faced critical physical challenges, his health and ministry is being not only being restored, but there is a freshness by the Power of God's Spirit working in and through his life.
Aaron has a shepherd's heart and is a gifted artist & teacher, who not only has pastored, but also taught seminary, stirring up many ministers with his love of the History of Christianity and the English Bible. He is thrilled as he receives new vision and fresh revelation that impart life and hope to the people of God. Pastor Shelia Artt lives life with a passion and enthusiasm that is contagious. Her purpose is not only to share the love of Christ, but to encourage everyone she meets, that they might perceive the precious God-given gift in them.
Married to Pastor Aaron Artt for 43 years (Nov.5,1966), the Artts have five wonderful children and seven (even more wonderful) grandchildren. Shelia has pursued the heart of God since she knew His call on her life at age 12, but in recent years, her love for the nations has opened doors for many exciting new opportunities. On a daily basis, she serves as Administrator of Cross Roads International Revival Center in Branson, Missouri, and oversees the Harvest Project, which is reaching the local community and into the nations, that the Gospel of the Kingdom be preached in the whole world, before the end comes.
What some would see as a stubborn streak has actually been a strong determination in Shelia's life that "absolutely Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ." Not cancer (6x), not kidnapping, not rape, not the rejection of others, not hard situations with one's own family . No! She has learned that in all things, we are more than conquerors through Him, who gave His life for us!
Shelia says. "I believe we are living in the most exciting times ever! The darkness of this present world has set a backdrop for the wonderful Light of Jesus to shine forth, revealing God's Glory in us, as we receive the unbelievable inheritance promised to His Children!" |
